Father's Day is this weekend. It makes my heart ache to realize that this will be the second one without you, Dad. I still remember that last Fathers Day I was lucky enough to spend with you. I remember driving around Fayetteville in your Jeep, looking for a place to take you to dinner. EVERYTHING was packed. So we went by Krispy Kreme to pick up a dozen hot and ready donuts and went back to Sanford. Cracker Barrel was open and not completely busy. It was a nice dinner. Memories are all I have to hang onto and not a day passes that I don't miss you. Wish things were different. Feel the pain that never seems to truly go away, knowing that I can't see you, or call you. I love and miss you, Dad.
